In February, our organization published two insightful articles titled "Seeing is Believing: The 2022 Israeli Overseas Warrior Training Program ~ No Venture, No Victory ~" and "Cheers from the Embassy to the Warrior Training Participants: 'Yalla!'" to introduce the distinguished "Entrepreneurship Training in Israel."

As part of this initiative, we had the privilege of conducting interviews with two of the eight talented participants who actively engaged in this program. The interviews were conducted with Mr. Yoshio Hatakeyama, a second-year master's student at Waseda University's Graduate School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, and Mr. Arata NakaTsuji, a fourth-year student specializing in the International Political Economy Department at the School of Political Science and Economics. We are delighted to share their invaluable experiences and insights gained during their two-week sojourn in Israel.

Table of Contents:

Overview of the Two-Week Training

The program was structured around a series of daily lectures delivered by esteemed instructors, including accomplished entrepreneurs, seasoned investors, and mentors from acceleration programs. On the final day, participants had the distinct privilege of presenting their own business ventures in the presence of an audience comprising approximately 20 investors and other distinguished attendees. The lectures encompassed a broad spectrum of themes, including:

  • The criteria of significance to discerning investors

  • Comprehensive workshops on sales and business development

  • Crafting business models that are financially sound and sustainably driven

It is worth noting that these lectures fostered a dynamic exchange of ideas rather than being one-directional. For instance, sessions conducted by financial experts saw program participants presenting the financial status and future projections of their respective projects, inviting feedback and guidance from the instructors.

For a comprehensive exploration of Mr. Arata Nakatsuji's and Mr. Hatakeyama's experiences, please refer to the complete articles linked above. We take great pride in supporting and spotlighting the profound insights and knowledge accrued by these aspiring entrepreneurs during their enriching two-week expedition in Israel.
